Vehicles

Tata International commenced the distribution of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles in Africa in 1969. Over the years, our subsidiaries – Tata Africa Holdings and Tata Automobiles Corporation SA – have been marketing and distributing a range of vehicles manufactured by Tata Motors, including medium and heavy commercial vehicles, and passenger cars across Africa. Tata is a recognised and trusted brand in Africa and our vehicles are known for their utility, quality and comfort.

Tata International has developed deep expertise in distribution, marketing and after-sales service of Tata Motors Limited vehicles in Africa. We have built an extensive network of distributorships, dealerships, workshops and even an assembly plant in the continent through our subsidiaries. We are now looking to replicate this model in Asia.

    • Jaguar Land Rover

Tata International has established the Tata brand as a strong automobile distribution partner in Africa. The journey of over three decades on the road to excellence crossed many milestones and this strength is attractive leverage to brands looking to enter the African market. Jaguar Land Rover, a luxury vehicle brand, is using our proven distribution network in this market.

After Tata Motors acquired Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford in 2008, it merged the two marques into a single company and its success has flourished, with memorable vehicles and innovative technologies that add to a long-lasting legacy.
