Tree plantation drive and awareness session held by TIL Dewas

Tata International’s CSR team in Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) organised a community-building initiative on November 11, 2016. Held at the government-run crèche, the activity included a tree plantation drive, where 30 trees of various species like bougainvillea, neem and kanner were planted by volunteers and participants.
A short awareness session on malnutrition and its impact on children’s health was also held. Children and women of disadvantaged communities were invited to be part of the activity. Around 60 children and women attended the programme.
