Indian National Safety Week observed across all manufacturing units

The 51st Indian National Safety Week was flagged off at various locations across the company. National Safety Week is observed from 4 to 11 March every year to mark the Foundation Day of the National Safety Council that was set up by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India.

Tata International Vehicle Applications Pvt. Ltd. (TIVA), Waki, observed Indian National Safety Week starting from 4 March 2022. Safety Objective Quiz Competition, Slogan Competition, Quick-Quiz Round, Poem, Posters Competition, Training on Fire-fighting, Emergency Preparedness Training for all vehicle drivers, mass meetings, and fire drill were held.

The closing ceremony was held on 14 March 2022 at TIVA, Waki. Ms Kanchan Patil, Head – Corporate Communication was the chief guest. Executives of TIVA, Safety professionals, employees, workers, and Union Committee members were present at the event. The winners of the competition received their awards during the closing ceremony.

National Safety flag-hoisting was held on 4 March at the Walajapet unit followed by a prize distribution ceremony. As part of the celebrations, a Safety Pledge was taken by the staff and workers, safety drawings, essay writing, and online quiz contests were conducted.
