Distribution team in Tanzania marks Global Waste Pickers Day

A Global Waste Pickers Day programme was orgaised by the Tata International Distribution team in Tanzania on November 2, 2022. The programme included activities around community awareness building, education and more. Gloves and vests were distributed by the team volunteers for their safety. Colleagues helped in registration of waste (sorting and separation). Over 40 colleagues gathered at the Dar-es-Salam city centre in Tanzania in order to show their support to the city’s waste pickers.
