Americas Steel team supports One Tree Planted

Tata International’s Americas Steel team had another successful outing supporting One Tree Planted.
During this event the team helped restoring the native savannah habitat that early settlers encountered in this region. This preserved area struggles against invasive plant species that threaten to displace the historical fauna. In order to keep the original biodiversity intact the team collected seeds from native plants, which will be distributed next spring in the fields to help these native species to flourish.
While the whole team was engaged, special thanks to Dee who did a great job organising the event, including a truly delicious picnic lunch to nourish the troops after the event.
