TIL teams participate in Indian Navy, CLE, FDDI exhibition

Tata International (TIL) participated in the Indian Navy-CLE-FDDI Footwear Workshop-cum-Exhibition held on September 29, 2016. The event was organised at DRDO Bhawan, New Delhi (India) by the Indian Navy, Council for Leather Exports (CLE) and Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI). The workshop was inaugurated by Chief of Logistics, Indian Navy and the Chief Guest, Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of Naval Staff.

Tata International was represented by teams from the Finished Leather Business (FLB) and FeetScience by Bachi Shoes (a Tata International subsidiary). Performance leather from FLB and footwear from Bachi Shoes were displayed at the stall. Mr Deepak Phull represented Bachi Shoes and Mr Suneel Acharya, Mr Santosh Sawant, Mr Ashutosh Mishra and Ms Richa Arora represented TIL at the event.

FeetScience has been associated with the Indian Navy as a registered vendor. Admiral Lanba and Air Commodore Sanyog Mehta of the Indian Air Force visited the TIL stall at the exhibition and complimented the team for the product range offered.

A total of 30 CLE members participated in the event, including some of the biggest names in the institutional footwear industry.
