Tata International’s apprenticeship programme wins award from ITI, Dewas

On January 22, 2019, Tata International was recognised by the Industrial Training Institute, Dewas under National Apprentice Promotion Scheme for deploying apprentice trainees at its leather plant in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. Mr Suhas CA, Head – Engineering & Maintenance, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Deployment of apprentice students in the organisation is an effective way of developing the talent pool for critical areas where skilled manpower is required. Apprentices are trained within the organisation and can be offered full-time employment thereby also reducing recruitment costs while strengthening the skills required.
