Tata International wins big at the CLE National Export Excellence Awards 2023

Tata International won major awards at the CLE National Export Excellence Award 2023, for the year 2021-22.
Mr Balahari V, Operations Head of Leather Products, accepted the award for the third place in Overall Exports of Leather, Leather Products & Footwear. Tata International also won second place in the Non-Leather Footwear category (upto Rs 100 crore), which was received by Mr NM Muthukumaran, Production Head, Men’s Footwear Division.
The Council for Leather Exports, India (CLE) organised the awards at the Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi and was attended by Mr Piyush Goyal, Honourable Minister for Commerce & Industry and Textiles, and Ms Anupriya Patel, Honourable Minister for State for Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Commenting on the recognition, Mr Atul Kumar Nagrath, Head – Leather Products, said, “It is a great pleasure to accept the National Export Excellence Award from the Council of Leather Exports. Our focus remains on business excellence and employee wellbeing. We appreciate the efforts of our teams who have ensured that we are able to deliver our customer’s orders with the highest quality.”
The Council of Leather Exports, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, organises the National Export Excellence Award ceremony annually to recognise and honour the top performers in the export of trade of leather, leather products and footwear.
