Tata International participates in the 18th edition of CII – EXIM Bank Conclave on India-Africa Growth Partnership

Tata International participated in the 18th edition of the CII – EXIM Bank Conclave on India-Africa Growth Partnership held at Taj Palace, New Delhi, India during 14 – 16 June 2023.
The conclave focused on investments, exchange of knowledge and skills that create mutual benefit in trade and commerce between India and Africa. The event has laid the foundation for many new cross-border partnerships to take root and has conducted a critical assessment of the existing collaborations that would further strengthen new avenues in Africa.
Mr Noel N Tata, Chairman, Tata International, and Chairman, CII India Africa Committee, addressed the inaugural session, ‘India-Africa: Synergies for Shared Growth’. Mr Rajeev Singhal COO, and Mr Lalit Kasliwal, CFO, Tata International; Mr Rajeev Batra, CEO – Tata International Vehicle Applications; and Mr Rahul Gupta, Head Stryder Bicycles attended the session.
Mr Kasliwal addressed the session on how African countries are seeking greater growth and a more inclusive economy, and the rising demand for financing trade, infrastructure and development.
On the second day, Mr Rahul Srivastav, Head Agri Trading, spoke on the session for ‘Fostering value chains in Agriculture & Food Processing’. He emphasised how agriculture is critical to the health of Africa’s economy.
The Distribution business and Tagra brand of safety shoes were showcased at the event. TIVA Trailers and Stryder Bicycles participation drew attention from the African dignitaries and delegates.
