Tata International’s (TIL) Dewas unit (Madhya Pradesh, India) held a health camp for the children of the primary school in Binjana village. The initiative is part of a series of health camps held for government schools near TIL facilities under the ‘Swasth Bachhe, Swasth Bhavishya’ (Healthy Children, Healthy Future) programme.

Held on August 25, 2015, the camp was held in coordination with the ESIC authorities (Indore region), led by Dr Sanjeev Srivastav. It hosted 110 school students and other Aanganwadi children. The check-ups include preliminary health checks, Rubella vaccination for girl students, dental check-up, and free medicines (based on doctor’s advice).

Binjana is one of the four villages adopted by TIL for this activity. Mr Rakesh Agrawal, Head Fashion Leather appreciated the effort and congratulated the CSR team led by Dr CS Katju, Factory Manager.
