Ms Janaki Chaudhry participates in meeting with Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Commonwealth representatives

Ms Janaki Chaudhry, Head – Strategy and Business Development, was invited to participate in a meeting with Lord Marland of Odstock, Chairman, Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), along with Mr Alan Gemmel, CEO, CWEIC. The meeting was arranged with Mr Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Mr Subhash Desai, Minister of Industries and Mining, Government of Maharashtra. The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s Bungalow on January 21, 2019.
During this meeting, the CWEIC met with a delegation of senior industry members. The objective of the meeting was to explore synergies with India and promote Commonwealth trade and investment. The meeting also explored how the CWEIC can help Indian companies build new relationships and strengthen existing ones with the Commonwealth market and build a potential strategic partnership between the state of Maharashtra and CWEIC.
