Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises symposium addressed by TIL

The ‘Symposium on Growth and Prospects of MSME Sector in Emerging Scenario’ was organised by The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development along with the Confederation of Indian Industry on January 8-9, 2015. Mr N Mohan, Head, Leather Products, who was invited to share the opportunities that TIL’s Leather and Leather products business can bring to the micro, small and medium enterprises, addressed the gathering on January 8.
The Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Mr Kalraj Mishra launched a brochure – CII Global MSME Business Summit 2015 – at the inauguration of the symposium. The minister was impressed with TIL’s activities at the Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) and Chennai (Tamil Nadu, India) footwear and garment units respectively, and announced plans to visit the facilities in February 2015.
