Distribution team in Uganda team lends support to Rapid Action Task Force

Tata International’s Distribution team in Uganda offered special discounts to key customers and convinced them to donate the vehicles to support the country’s Rapid Action Task Force. The initiative was undertaken in response to the President of Uganda’s appeal to businesses and corporate houses for assistance in fighting the pandemic. With pooled funding from these customers, nine Xenons were donated in April and five more are being prepared for supply in May.
This crisis vehicle fleet is proving to be instrumental is faster movement of the task force and improved response time during the lockdown.
