Sebastian Frey wins 2021 Tata North America Sustainability Award

Mr Sebastian Frey, Senior Trading Manager – Long Products (Steel Trading, Americas) was, recognised with the 2021 Tata North America Sustainability Award, for his initiative in coordinating a seed collection event. The project helped restore a local habitat, and other employees were motivated to take part under his leadership.
The award (in its 6th year) honours Tata group employees in the North America region who demonstrate their commitment to community and environment. This year nominations came in from companies including TCS, Tata Technologies, Tata International Metals, and The Pierre Hotel, New York. The nominated projects addressed a wide range of Sustainability Development Goals including ensuring inclusive and quality education, taking actions to combat climate change, making our businesses and communities resilient and sustainable, promoting well-being, ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns, amongst many others.
