Metals team in Chicago walks for autism

Tata International’s Metals Americas team participated in the Chicago Walk for Autism Speaks, which took place on June 1, 2019. The event included a 3-mile walk around Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears, and along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. A team of 28 participated and helped raise over $1,000 for the Autism Speaks NGO. Tata International Metals Americas will match the $1,000 fundraising efforts by our team members.
Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions across the spectrum and throughout the life span for the needs of people with autism and their families.
The team does this through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
