TIL at a panel discussion on Fostering an Inclusive Workplace

Tata International (TIL) was represented by Ms Janaki Chaudhry, Head Strategy & Business Development, at a seminar designed to expand awareness of gender balanced leadership as a strategic and competitive advantage in today’s global marketplace.
The event, titled ‘Partnering Across Genders to Foster an Inclusive Workplace’, was organised by Sodexo and hosted by Mr Rishi Gour, COO, Sodexo India On-Site Services, and Ms Catherine Corley, Senior Vice President, Global Operations, Catalyst India. Other panelists included Mr Madhur Deora, Managing Director, Citi India Investment Banking; Dr Saundarya Rajesh, Founder, President, Avtar Career Creators; and Ms Shachi Irde, Executive Director, Catalyst India.
Ms Chaudhry apprised audience of the Tata group’s initiatives to sensitise teams on gender balance, including the Second Career Internship Programme (SCIP) that is designed to encourage women who have taken a career break to return to the workplace. Among the audience were many members of TIL Mumbai including Ms Amrita Banerjee, Head of Corporate Communications and Strategic Relations, Mr Vikram Rathi, Ms Pragya Tikku, Mr Jaldeep Virani and Ms Kanchanmala Patil, and Diversity & Inclusion Champion from Tata group HR Ms Ruma Rao.
