Africa teams plant trees on World Environment Day

The Tata International South Africa team marked the occasion of World Environment Day (June 5, 2015) by organising a tree plantation drive.

Marula trees were planted at the Tirisano Mmogo Primary School in Randburg, Johannesburg. Tata Automobile Corporation South Africa, Uganda and Tanzania teams also contributed by planting trees at their facilities.

The activities were undertaken as part of Tata International’s Sustainability Month initiative (May 30 to June 30, 2015), themed ‘Save Our Resources’.
