TIL’s Dewas unit holds Women’s Empowerment workshops

Tata International’s Fashion Leather Bunisess in Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) has been conducting a series of programmes aimed at empowering women. The programmes include informative workshops and engagement through cultural activities. This series earlier included a workshop on Vishakha Guidelines conducted by an external faculty and a quiz aimed at creating awareness on women’s strengths.
In November, a Mehendi and Rangoli Competition was conducted for the women workers of the unit. Initiatives like these are a great motivator, helping the women appreciate themselves and making them aware of their inner strengths.
The Mehendi competition was judged by Mr Rakesh Agrawal, Business Head Fashion Leather; Mr SM Jaishankar, Manager Production; and Mr Atul Babele, Manager Finance. The Rangoli competition was judged by Mr Peeyush Singh, Manager IR, and Mr Rishabh Chauhan, Manager Production. The process owner for the activities was Ms Neeta Sharma, Manager Marketing.
