TIL team distributes toys to Aanganwadi children in Dewas

Tata International’s CSR team in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh (India), organised a toy distribution programme for a local Aanganwadi centre in December 2015. The Aanganwadis operate in rural and impoverished areas of Dewas, providing basic healthcare and organising pre-school activities.
The primary objective behind the programme was to reach out to the children (all below five years of age), and encourage them to go to school with the help of such Aanganwadi centres. The Aanganwadis have been set up by the MP State Government under the Baal Vikas Pariyojna department.
