TIL participates in Japan Africa Business Forum

Tata International (TIL) was represented by Ms Janaki Chaudhry, Head of Strategy and Business Development, at the recently held Japan Africa Business Forum in Tokyo, Japan. The forum was organised by the African Development Bank. TIL, as a member of the CII Africa Committee, was invited to speak at the forum on how Indian companies can collaborate with Japanese enterprises for doing business in Africa.
The forum aimed to enhance Japan’s trade and investment in areas like infrastructure, agriculture, power and energy, etc, in Africa, wherein Japan has committed a contribution of US$ 32 billion over the next five years. The event attracted more than 500 senior business and government representatives who are involved in Japan-Africa businesses. Mr S Kuppuswamy from Shapoorji Pallonji was also a participant on behalf of the CII Africa Committee.
