Tata International’s Chennai team celebrates Ayudha Pooja

The Chennai garments division of Tata International organised Ayudha Pooja celebrations for the team. The occasion is part of the Navratri festival, a Hindu festival which is traditionally celebrated in India. It is a worship of whatever implements one may use in one’s livelihood.
Apart from an aesthetically arranged Pooja, flowers adorned the prayer area and the office was decorated with festive ribbons and balloons. There were rangolis (designs made of colourful powder) and flowers, the employees were dressed in their traditional best.
There were also fun events and games which the employees participated in. These games included cricket, badminton, kabbadi, chess and carom, to name just a few.
