Tata International Solar team bags largest solar PV project of the year

The Solar team of Tata International bagged a 118 mw project for a ‘Navratna’ Government of India company, in November 2018. The prestigious project is the largest solar photovoltaic (PV) project for the team for FY 2018-19. Winning the contract substantiates the engineering competence of the design team led by Mr Chellappan Annamalai, Head Design, with Mr Harikrishna Mandalapu, Mr Kevin Lobo, and Mr Vishnu Vijayan, who worked tirelessly through the stringent approval criteria for the design and proto installation process.
Officials from the company were impressed with the design proficiency and further recommended Tata International to their vendors executing other projects. This helped the company bag an additional 40 mw to be executed for the company in the same month. Considering the target of the company to install an additional 1,000 mw by 2020, Tata International is at the forefront for their consideration.
