Tata International signs agreement with John Deere Construction & Forestry

Tata International signed an agreement with John Deere Construction & Forestry Company on March 21, 2019. According to the agreement, Tata International will be the authorised distributor for John Deere construction and forestry products in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin and Togo.

The products cover the full line of John Deere construction and forestry equipment, including excavators, motor grader, backhoes, front end loaders, crawler dozer, log skidders and articulated dump trucks.

John Deere has a long history of equipment manufacturing, having been founded in the Midwest United States in 1837. Today John Deere is a leading manufacturer of agriculture, construction, and forest equipment with manufacturing facilities worldwide.

Present at the agreement signing were Mr Joe Ness, Director Channel, Brazil, Latin America and Russia & Dealer Process; Mr Mark Germain, Director – Worldwide Retail Channel Development; Mr Dan Fitzpatrick, Director – Outside Americas Markets; Mr Len Brand, CEO of Tata Africa Holdings; David Thorne, Senior Vice-President Worldwide C&F Sales & Marketing; Mr Jeff Kraft, Managing Director – Asia-Pacific & Africa; Mr David Kelder, Managing Director for John Deere Africa; Mr Brian Garland, Manager – Overseas Construction Operations.
