December 06, 2016

Tata International celebrated Ethics Month leading up to the 54th Foundation Day (November 30) of the company. Across geographies, teams engaged in training sessions and activities that created awareness on the importance of ethics in Tata culture and values. ‘i-Run for Ethics 2016′, driven by Chief Ethics Counsellor of Tata International, Mr Ajay Ponkshe, supported by locational Ethics Counsellors, witnessed employees reiterating their commitment to the Tata Code of Conduct through this annual event.

As part of the celebrations, Mr Harish Menon, Vice President, Office of the Brand Custodian, Tata Sons, conducted an interactive session with the senior leadership team of the company. The session explored means to further perpetuate the Tata Code of Conduct in the organisation. Held on November 22, 2016, in Mumbai, the global team participated remotely in the session where Mr Menon shared insights on key clauses and his experience in this area.

Online and offline training sessions were conducted and the ethics quotient of team members was showcased through global contests. Some of these included: ‘Ethics-based Case Study Competition’, ‘Ethics Quiz’ and a ‘One-minute Video Contest’. Teams also undertook volunteering activities, donation drives and interactions with Government school children on ethics, environment, sanitation and hygiene. While the celebrations culminated on the company’s Foundation Day, the spirit of doing and giving continues at Tata International.
