Tata International bags major awards at the CLE Export Awards and Leather Conclave 2018

Tata International, the global trading arm of the Tata group and one of India’s leading exporters of Leather and leather products, won top Council for Leather Exports (CLE) Awards in recognition of its export performance during the year 2017-18. The CLE organised the ‘CLE Export Awards and Leather Conclave’ on November 29, 2018 in New Delhi in the presence of Chief Guest Mr Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation, Government of India.

Tata International bagged the 3rd place in Overall Exports – Leather & Leather Products including Non- Leather Footwear, followed by 2nd place in Leather Footwear category (Above Rs. 300 crore) and 1st place in the Finished Leather Category (above Rs 200 crore & upto Rs 300 crore).

Commenting on the occasion, Mr V Muthukumaran, Head of Leather Products, said, “We are honoured that our efforts have been recognized and I would like to congratulate our team at Tata International for this achievement. Such awards reiterate our commitment to bring the best to our stakeholders through innovation. As one of India’s foremost manufacturers and exporters of premium leather and leather products, we are proud to have won the CLE Awards once again.”
