Tata Africa Holdings (Ghana) launches ‘Tata 3-S Facility’

April 24, 2015

Tata Africa Holdings (Ghana), together with its dealer Modern Auto Services (MAS), inaugurated a new Tata Showroom, Workshop and Spare Parts facility in Kumasi, the capital city of the Ashanti Region in Ghana.

The event took place in January 2015 and was officiated by the Akyempimhene (vice-King), Nana Oheneba Aduse Opoku, representing the Asante kingdom. Also in attendance were the Mayor of the Kumasi Metropolitan Authority, officials of the Ghana Public Road Transport Union (GPRTU), government officials and other stakeholders.

This much-needed facility will offer both existing and prospective customers, within the Ashanti/northern regions of Ghana, access to quality services, spare parts replacement, and Tata vehicles within the sector. In addition to the official opening of the facility, four Tata products – the Manza, Aria, Xenon and Ace –were launched.

The sentiment echoed by the vice-King was that the Tata cars and trucks offered true value for money, and hopeful that the dealership would create more employment and opportunity for the youth.

Mr Vivek Saraswat, General Manager, Tata Africa Holdings (Ghana), and Mr Amine Kabbara, General Manager, MAS, thanked the TIL management for the support given to the dealership and Akyempemhene for his commitment to the brand.
