South Africa teams visit old age home

Teams from two Tata International offices – Tata Africa Holdings and Tata Automobile Corporation South Africa – visited Herfsland Old Age Home on April 4, 2018. Located in east Johannesburg in Kempton Park, the facility is home to 124 residents; 99 who are frail and 25 are semi-frail. It also has an Alzheimer’s department, with 19 patients.
The team received a warm welcome full of smiles and stories from all the seniors. The team prepared tea, coffee for the residents, which were served with cupcakes, sweets, and chips. They then distributed blankets, a gesture that was deeply appreciated.
