Solar team marks National Safety Day

Tata International’s (TIL) Solar team marked India’s 46th National Safety Day at its project site in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The event, held on March 4, 2017, was attended by the TIL team, along with representatives from the client organisation.
The event began with all the participants taking the Safety Pledge. They then attended a training session on safe working practices conducted by Safety Officers Mr Bandi Venkatesh, Tata International, and Mr Gautam from the client’s team. Mr UV Golwalkar, Head – Project Execution, Module Mounting Systems Solar Projects, and Mr Dev Raj, Project In-charge, addressed the gathering.
A quiz contest was also conducted to create awareness on the use of personal protective equipment. Winners were presented tokens of appreciation. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets to all the attendees.
