Ms Janaki Chaudhry represents Tata International at CII global trade conference

Ms Janaki Chaudhry, Head Strategy and Business Development, represented Tata International at the 2nd edition of the Conference on Global Trade Scenario. Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on October 25, 2018, the theme for the event was: Trade Openness, Boosting Competitiveness.
The annual conference brought together key stakeholders from Government, Indian industry and international business to deliberate the short- and medium-term outlook for the global economy vis-a-vis the Indian economy and discuss the possible effects of potential trade disruptions.
This edition also touched upon global trade witnessing the escalated protectionist sentiment, policy uncertainty and heightened geopolitical risks, and necessary steps to help mitigate an expected slowdown and bolster growth scenarios in the long run.
