M&R Kolkata team hosts Malaysian customer to discuss growth opportunities

Tata International’s Metallics & Rolls (M&R) team in Kolkata, hosted Mr Hooi Tong Cheng, Senior Procurement Manager of a customer from Malaysia. The company is a renowned manufacturer of stamping machines meant for the automobile sector. The M&R business unit established the association in 2017-18, by supplying Tata Metaliks FPI. There are now plans to expand into new territories.
Order planning and FPI market development in Malaysia were some of the action items that were discussed during the meeting. Mr Cheng also visited the Tata Metaliks plant at Kharagpur, to understand the operations and product handling processes. The team visited the BF, laboratory and stockyard.
