Leather and Leather Products business wins top CLE awards

Tata International’s Leather and Leather Products business was recognised by the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) for its export performance during the year 2014-15. CLE, the apex body in India for promotion of leather and leather products, presented the awards for the Western Region on November 9, 2016.
Tata International won first place in the four categories of: Overall Export, Finished Leather, Leather Footwear and Leather Garments.
The awards were presented by Chief Guest, Dr John Joseph, Chief Commissioner of Customs Mumbai Zone-II, in Mumbai. Mr Kailash Jain, Senior Manager – Planning, Fashion Leather – Goat business; Mr Chandan Ghosh, Head – Technical and Quality Management, Leather Footwear business; and Mr Muthukumaran NM, Senior Manager – Production, Leather Garments business received the awards on behalf of the company.
The ceremony was attended by the CLE Western Region committee members.
