Health camp held for government school children in Dewas

Tata International’s CSR team at Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) organised a health camp at the Government Primary School and Aanganwadi Centre at Binjana village. The camp was held in coordination with a team from ESI Health Services, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indore region, under the government’s ‘Swasth Bachhe, Swasth Bhavishya Abhiyan’. The ESI team was led by Dr (Ms) Keshar Katare, Dr Saifi and Dr (Ms) Bela Hemnani, along with their nursing staff.

Around 65 children participated in the camp that was held on July 21, 2017. The health checks included height and weight checks, Rubella vaccinations for girls, dental checks, and free medicines (based on doctor’s advice).

Members of the CSR team also addressed the students. Mr Tushar Bichhu, Committee Member, spoke to the children about keeping healthy, and team member Ms Anita Chavhan shared the importance of healthy habits in childhood.

Ms Chavhan, Mr Ramanand Pandey and team, Ms Reena Kushwaha and other CSR members played a key role in organising the event.
