April 20, 2022

Tata International’s Ghana team has been awarded John Deere Africa’s prestigious 2021 Dealer of the Year Award for the category of dealers outside the SADC region, for the second year in a row.

The award is presented to a dealer that outperforms in various aspects of the business, including delivering value to customers. In addition to overall customer satisfaction, other key criteria for the award include turnover and market share growth.

The team believes that resilience, adaptability and customer centricity in times of global adversity led to this consecutive win.

“Receiving this award for the second year in a row is a testament to our strategy and commitment. The right product mix and solutions for customers, financial solutions to help acquire these products and efficient service support are the drivers for this win. We have certainly enveloped our customers in Ghana to ensure that they are heard and assisted”, says Len Brand, CEO of Tata International Africa.

“A huge congratulations goes to David Kelder, Head of Agriculture and Construction Business at Tata International Africa. His leadership, strategy, knowledge and commitment to the John Deere brand in all the territories in which we operate in Africa is steadfast. It also goes without saying that the team in Ghana continues to surprise and delight its customers. They are a strong, focused and happy team. Their dedication and hard work have been recognised by our partner John Deere for a second year. Something to be extremely proud of!”, adds Brand.

Ms Aline Badr heads the business in Ghana and mentioned on the win, “The success is purely the result of the hard work, resilience, passion and dedication of a highly motivated team. Adapting to the unpredictable is key to our success. This award comes from small acts being implemented every day. By listening, by helping, by being proactive, and by being close to our customers, is what’s driving our business.”
