Dewas team supports mega tree plantation drive

The Madhya Pradesh state government organised a tree plantation event on the banks of the Narmada River on July 3, 2017. Tata International’s Dewas unit lent its support by contributing Rs 75,000 for the purchase of 7,500 plants. Additionally, employees made a voluntary contribution of around Rs 6,100 for the mega event.

The day-long campaign was launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who planted saplings at Amarkantak. Organised across 24 districts, it is estimated that nearly six crore saplings were planted.
