Dewas team organises tree plantation drive

In line with the ‘Green India Campaign’, the CSR team at Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) organised a tree plantation drive on October 14, 2016. The drive was held in association with the ESI Health Services officials, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Dr BL Bangeriya, Director of ESI Health Services, participated in the drive and spoke to the gathered volunteers about the adverse effects of increasing pollution on the environment. He also made an appeal to save and plant more trees.

Representing Tata International was Dr CS Katju, Factory Manager, Dewas, who delivered a vote of thanks to Dr Bangeria for his association with various causes that have helped disadvantaged communities.

All the dignitaries present at the event planted a tree and took an oath to save and protect the environment. Mr Aslam Ansari, Head, Human Resources and Admin, Dewas; Dr Rajoriya, Nodal Officer, ESI; Dr Pradhan, Dr Dixit and other ESIC staff along with CSR committee members Ms Anita Chavhan, Ms Rani Singh, Mr Ghanshyam; and Union members were also present at the event.
