Dewas team holds health camp at government school

The CSR team at Tata International’s Finished Leather Business, Dewas (Madhya Pradesh) organised a health camp at the Government Middle and Primary School in Amona village, Dewas on January 23, 2018. The camp was held in coordination with the ESI Health Services team, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Indore region under the ‘Swasth Bachhe Swasth Bhavishya Abhiyan’.

The ESI doctors’ team was led by Dr (Ms) Keshar Katare, Dr Saifi and Dr Gupta along with their nursing staff.

The health camp had preliminary health checks for height and weight, Rubella vaccination for girls, dental check-ups and free medicine distribution according to the advisory of doctors.

Around 355 children from the middle and primary school benefitted from the health. Ms Anita Chavhan, Mr Ramanand Pandey and the admin team, Ms Reena Kushwaha and other CSR members helped facilitate the programme.

Finished Leather Finance and HR Head and CSR Committee Chairman Mr Rajkumar Mittal inaugurated the camp. Mr Mittal talked of the importance of education and health for a person’s well-being.

The doctors and school principal also addressed the school children and explained the importance of keeping oneself healthy and shared importance of healthy habits in childhood.
