Dewas team donates computers, conducts health camp at special needs school

Tata International’s Dewas team in Madhya Pradesh (India) donated 10 computers to the school for blind girls, run by the Madhya Pradesh Drashtiheen Kalyan Sangh. Mr Ashish Jha, Operations Head, Finished Leather Business, inaugurated the team’s CSR efforts on July 22, 2019.

The computers work on voice recognition-based applications. Two faculty members specialised in the field were also invited to conduct workshops for the students over one month.

A health camp was also held for the girls on July 31, 2019. The school accommodates 65 girls in one batch, from the ages of 3 to 18 years.
