Bicycle manufacturing capabilities strengthened

Tata Stryder manufacturing capabilities have been enhanced with a new machine for testing the complete bicycle being installed.
Tata Stryder is the first to use the indigenously made machine that has the capability of testing drive train parts like chain, free wheel, hubs, BB axle, BB cups and steel balls. The laboratory facility for testing has thus been enhanced.
The team visited Sri Lanka to finalise a new partner for sourcing of alloy and steel range of models. A company that has facilities for manufacturing, painting and assembly was found suitable for making the new range. The business will start placing orders shortly.
Trials have been done for application of water graphics in one model at the dedicated manufacturing facility and initial results were encouraging. New models with water decals will be launched in coming months once the team is trained on this usage.
