Mr Anand Sen, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, inaugurates MEE plant at Dewas

On March 4, 2020, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Mr Anand Sen inaugurated the Multiple Effect Evaporation (MEE) plant at the Leather unit in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh (India). The plant is another step towards sustainability and environment protection.
The MEE plant aims at making Dewas a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) unit. The focus of ZLD is to reduce wastewater economically and produce clean water that is suitable for reuse (eg for irrigation), thereby saving money and being beneficial to the environment.
