Tata Roadside Assistance service launched in South Africa

December 01, 2018

Tata Automobile Corporation South Africa (TACSA) has perfected and launched a 24/7, 365-day roadside assistance service in South Africa’s major cities: Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

A vehicle breakdown cannot be foreseen or predicted, whether minor or major, it affects the day-to-day business negatively and can sometimes even be dangerous. Preparing and setting up measures for such an incident minimises disruption and places truck drivers and owners at ease in the time of an emergency. It is for these reasons that the Roadside Assistance service has been created.

The Roadside Assistance has been carefully set up to ensure that major routes can be reached within an hour at any time of the day, turning downtime into Uptime. Not only does this service ensure that broken down trucks are reached on time, but it also provides certified Tata technicians (trained for Tata, Daewoo, Cummins, Eaton and ZF trucks) to attend to breakdowns with fully-equipped service vans to properly diagnose and repair these trucks.
