Operating in the international arena, we at Tata International [TIL] have undertaken the business excellence journey through the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) to constantly work towards meeting the exacting quality standards of our customers in terms of both products and services. TBEM is a Business Excellence framework adopted by the Tata Group, which is based on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award of USA. TBEM is a tool that can be used to assess the maturity of the key business processes and results, which help an organisation to achieve its aspirations. Through the TBEM framework, we are working on building a process-centric approach at an enterprise-level in TIL.
