Zambia team volunteers at school for the blind

May 11, 2017

A team from Tata Zambia, a Tata International subsidiary, visited the Lions Upper Basic School for the Blind on April 7, 2017, to donate groceries, toiletries and clothes.

As part of the visit, the team served lunch to the students. After the meal, the team interacted with students and distributed clothes and shoes.

The school, set up in 1974, educates over 100 disadvantaged children in Ndola and provides daily meals to its pupils. As it continues to welcome students into its fold, the school requires generous donations to continue the good work.
