Zambia team volunteers at girls’ home

The Ndola team of Tata Zambia, a Tata International subsidiary, visited the Ndola Cheshire Home for Girls as part of Tata Volunteering Week. The home was opened in 1983 and depends on well-wishers to continue its good work. So the Ndola team volunteered and donated bedding, food, cleaning material, toiletries and a decoder among other things.
The team also interacted with the girls and had an opportunity to tour the school where the girls learn tailoring, home management, and computers. The home has 30 young women, some are slow learners, disabled and eight are HIV positive.
