TIL Distribution team holds training for Oman dealer

Tata International’s Infrastructure and Construction Equipment team, that is part of its Distribution business, organised a training session at their dealer Teejan Equipment LLC, Oman. The trainer, Sagar Bartakke, was deputed from the OEM Universal Construction Machinery (UCM). The service training was attended by the team dedicated to handle the UCM range of products at the dealer’s point.
Apart from the normal commissioning and run-of-the-mill maintenance procedures, the emphasis for this training was on putting in place effective and robust pre-delivery inspection and preventive maintenance systems. The service team was also trained to handle the Combo Mixer, which is the latest product from the stable of UCM to be marketed in Oman.
The training also comprised mapping the competency of the service team with the help of which an in-plant training will be organised in Q1 of the next fiscal. A list of minimum essential workshop tools and tackles, work benches and facilities to handle the ever-growing equipment population was worked out during this training. Recommendations on installation as per this list so as to keep the workshop self-sufficient were made to the dealer.
