Tata Ultra launched in Tanzania

Tata Africa Holdings (Tanzania), a Tata International subsidiary, and Tata Motors unveiled the Tata Ultra on February 21, 2017. The senior management from both companies also addressed the news media as part of the launch held at Hotel Serena, Dar es Salaam.
The event began with Mr Naresh Leekha, Regional Head, welcoming key customers, officials and senior management from both organisations. The address was followed by playing of the national anthems of Tanzania and India.
As part of the launch, a video showcasing customer testimonials based on the Ultra’s features and benefits was aired. A demonstration of the vehicles’ capabilities was also organised. Mr Sandeep Arya, High Commissioner of India, Tanzania, attended as the guest of honour and an interaction was led with Mr Charles, Trade and Investment Minister. Later, about 15 customers were handed keys to their new Tata Ultra trucks and buses. Plaques were awarded to Ultra customers and giveaway gifts were given to customers attending the launch.
The launch concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr Prashant Shukla, Auto Head, Tanzania, who invited all the customers to inspect the buses, followed by dinner and entertainment.
