The CSR team at Tata International’s Finished Leather Business, Dewas (Madhya Pradesh, India) organised a health camp at the Government Middle & Primary School in Amona village. The camp was held in association with the ESI Health Services Team, Government of Madhya Pradesh (Indore region) on November 25, 2016. Held under the aegis of the ‘Swasth Bachhe Swasth Bhavishya Abhiyan’, the camp benefitted around 504 children.

Dr CS Katju, CSR Committee Chairman and Factory Manager, inaugurated the camp and addressed the school children. He appealed to them to heed the health guidance shared by their teachers and the doctors participating in camps so that they could be fit and healthy.

As part of the camp, preliminary health checks such as height and weight, rubella vaccination for girls, dental check-up and medicine distribution based on doctor’s consultation were undertaken. Additionally, quick quiz sessions were held with the children to help them assimilate the knowledge imparted, followed by a prize distribution ceremony to motivate them.
