Tata International Metals Asia signs third MoU with leading Chinese steelmaker

Tata International Metals Asia Limited (TIMAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a major Chinese steelmaker, under which the latter will supply 280,000MT of steel products in 2015 for export. The Chinese company is one of the top 10 steel groups in the world and one of the country’s largest private steelmakers.
This is the third agreement between the two companies. Last year, TIMAL successfully exported 180,000MT of steel for this supplier. TIMAL was one of the top five exporters for the supplier in 2014 and has helped them gain a market foothold in Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, India, Africa and Europe.
The relationship between the two companies spans over 15 years, with TIMAL having successfully exported close to 1 million MT of their products in total.
