Stryder showcases new models at Distributors’ Meet

Tata International’s (TIL) Bicycle division – Stryder – organised a Distributors’ Meet in July 2015, hosting eight distributors from across the Indian state of West Bengal. The meet was held in the capital of Kolkata. Mr Ramesh Mani, Head – Metals, began the proceeding with a word on TIL’s global presence, focus on bicycle business and commitment to a profitable partnership for the brand and its distributors.

The Marketing and Sales team showcased the new MTB model – Harrier. Stryder distributors, who are its ‘Parivaar’ or family members, agreed that channel expansion should be the key focus area for this quarter’s growth. Refreshed shop branding will soon be visible across 3,000 touch points, communicating the brand’s availability to walk-in customers at sales outlets. Last quarter, 21 new models were introduced across categories, enhancing the product portfolio and are already available in the brand’s prominent markets.

Stryder will be soon be available on Snapdeal, a leading e-Commerce portal. The recent association with the ITC e-Choupal is a strategic move that will help the brand reach its rural customer base.
