January 10, 2017

Stryder, Tata International’s bicycle business, participated in an anti-pollution drive in December 2016 with the support of a Stryder distributor who provided Stryder bicycles to participants. The ‘No Motor Cycle – Only Bicycle’ event was organised by NGOs TRSMA and IYSO in the Karimnagar district of Telangana, India. Held at a Government junior college, the drive witnessed more than 600 college and policemen pedalling within the city to promote the health benefits of cycling and spread awareness on air pollution risks.

Chief guest Mr Vikram Jeet Duggal (IPS), Commissioner of Police, encouraged students to switch to an eco-friendly mode of transport to reduce pollution.
