POSH workshop organised at Dewas facility

A two-day Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) workshop was organised at Tata International’s (TIL) Dewas facility (Madhya Pradesh), in October. The workshop, facilitated by TIL’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), was conducted under the aegis of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). Key external stakeholders included NGOs and the Madhya Pradesh state government, which also took part in select sessions of the workshop at the invitation of TIL. Managers and workers from various levels participated. All the participants gained significant insight into the subject and steps to be taken in terms of corporate preparedness.
Action points emanated from the deliberations to help evolve a robust process that will ensure TIL becomes a model gender-friendly organisation. An action plan has been devised, and roles and responsibilities have been assigned. These will be tracked for a measured outcome.
